My GlassesUSA Refund Nightmare: Weeks of Frustration & Bot Replies! 😤🚫
My online shopping experience was a terrible nightmare, which is why I feel compelled to share this as a cautionary tale for everyone. GlassesUSA has still not sent my refund for an order I never received. They have $246.00 of my hard-earned money from a glasses order placed on February 24th. The tracking number still shows it stuck in Atlanta, Georgia, and I can't get a response for a refund—all they keep telling me is it is in transit from a BOT. I want my money back, GlassesUSA. My order number is #105081183. I used Zenni before and never had this problem, and I will definitely use them again. STAY AWAY from GlassesUSA. Whatever happened to customer service? I want my money back! On April 1st, still no glasses! Finally, GlassesUSA agreed to a refund, but I still have to wait 7-10 business days to receive it. This company is atrocious, and the only reason I am getting my refund is because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, wrote a bad review on Trust Pilot and Google, and filed a complaint with the Vermont Attorney General's office. I had to go through all this trouble to even get them to agree to a refund, and I desperately needed to speak to a human.

CS Rep: I apologize for the significant delay and frustration this has caused, and for the need for you to escalate this issue externally. I see your order status and that a refund for $246.00 has now been processed for order 105081183. Customer: Processed? I’ve been trying to get this for weeks! Now I hear it takes another 7-10 business days? This is ridiculous. I had to file complaints just to get this far. CS Rep: I completely understand your frustration and that this situation is unacceptable. The 7-10 business days is our standard processing time for the bank to credit the refund to your original payment method, once it's initiated from our side. Customer: So, I just wait again? After all this time, all this effort, and going to the BBB, I still have to wait for money that should have been returned months ago? CS Rep: The refund is confirmed and irreversible from our end. We appreciate your patience as the bank completes the transaction. Please accept our deepest apologies for the extended inconvenience.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
